I would really appreciate to have the community explain their best practices on how they make use of the tools mentioned in the article. From all the tools mentioned I only use the AI reports from time to time and deleted Stevie because my chats with him haven‘t been really useful and the amount of info I don’t need at all was too much…..I am sure that there is much value in the tools you have build and that it is about me not using them effectively. A discord channel related to this community might be a good idea to get more out of the subscription for everybody but I have no idea how much work and effort is needed to manage such a thing.

I have been using stevie for a few days now and I must say it is impressive so far. I mainly use it to analyse the companies I am interested in investing, very efficient in summarizing operations/ financials and go deeper into certain areas. I also find it very useful in making competitor analysis.

Thank you. It also has access to the global factor model rankings.

Thank you Stefan... can you tell us more about your investment process and how you generate ideas? I like screens, especially the Global Factor Model so I can quickly see estimate trends and valuations across the world. But everyone is different. Do we need a Discord chat?

I don‘t use screens a lot. I am mainly focused on one sector and 70% of my trades take place within this one sector. Beside this focus I opportunistically follow people out of my network (or subscriptions) into investments that I like and I believe make sense without having the expertise myself. ICE and HOOD are such examples. 80% of my net worth is invested in a global GDP and factor (Core / SC / Value) based ETF portfolio anyway - a structure I have build 15 years ago and that worked out perfectly well.

And yes, simply holding a low cost equity equity ETF has been the best strategy.

Stefan's avatar

Its not one ETF it is a structure of roughly 15 ETF‘s that cover the main global markets. The US it is structured like 50% Core 30% value and 20% small cap for example. Same for Europe and EM‘s as well as Asia Pacific - It‘s GDP based and not market cap. I update the GDP weighting once a year and the entire portfolio gets rebalanced twice a year. I can let you have the excel sheet if you are interested. The TER of the entire portfolio is (out of my head) around 0.30.

Thank you. That’s helpful. What is the one sector?

Energy

Fantastic! I thought you were going to say tech.

Pardon my ignorance, but where do we access the preferences?

Erik's avatar

I’m sorry. Sign in first ny chatting with Stevie (http://www.ywr-intellligence.world) then there should be a ‘Preferences’ box on the top right.

husarking's avatar

Hi Erik, there is no ‘Preferences’ box on the top right after sign-in. Also, I am not allowed to access any reports after sign in (I got an "0 Credits Available" error message)

Erik's avatar

OH, I think you are in the AI reports part. Do you see the 'Stevie' link in the top right hand corner? The direct link is https://www.ywr-intelligence.world/stevie.

husarking's avatar

thanks, but still no ‘Preferences’ box after going to https://www.ywr-intelligence.world/stevie.

Erik's avatar

And you started chatting, signed in with the 6 digit passcode and it still doesn't show a preferences box?

husarking's avatar

it appeared after entering the passcode, thanks.

Hi, sounds very interesting, but I'm also struggling to understand how the site works. Mainly, does my subscription here link to a membership there? I'm also seeing a "0 credits" message which I understand is not about Stevie, but I'm wondering more broadly how the memberships link up and whether I have access to all tools for my membership.

Hi Alex, it's confusing because I started building all of these things and they don't fit into the Substack box. So I had to create a second website (www.ywr-intelligence.world). Originally, the AI reports were on www.ywr-intelligence.world were an extra feature where you had to buy credits, but then I integrated them into the Global Factor Model app for free (the blue AI button) Again, building LLM's, AI reports , and data apps is hard to do through Substack, so that's why it's a bit all over the place.

Alex's avatar

ok, understand. so what do you recommend in terms of using the resources? I'm not sure where to start. where is the blue AI button? or is there a link where I can find the instructions.

Thanks.

I'd say start with the Global Factor Model App. The AI button is the blue button next to every stock. https://www.ywr.world/p/data-apps
